Goodbye My Beloved Kenari

It was so hard to say good-bye to him today.
I hugged him a million times.

Reminded him to be smart, make good decisions,
be careful with girls, alcohol, drugs, violence,
everything I could think of.

I can't believe I'm letting him leave.
Three year together...been thru ups and downs together.
From uni till i graduated...start working...
He's my lover. I know I'll never see him again.
It's just so difficult to let go.
The pain is still painful.

As I walked out from my car with tears in my eyes,
he said almost in a whisper, 'I love you'.
I replied the way I have for all the years of his life,
'I love you more'.
