::The Spirit::

Rating 1 out of 5

The storyline was weak and the characters were cheesy. I really expected more. And the acting- I realize the type of movie it was, but the acting was ridiculous.

From Yahoo! Movies
Adapted from the Will Eisner's graphic novels, "The Spirit" tells the story of a man who fakes his own death and fights crime from the shadows of Central City. The Octopus -- who kills anyone unfortunate enough to see his face -- has other plans. He's going to wipe out the entire city. The Spirit tracks this coldhearted killer from the city's rundown warehouses, to the damp catacombs, to the windswept waterfront...all the while facing a bevy of beautiful women who either want to seduce, love or kill the masked crusader.

:: BoLt ::

Rating: 4 out of 5

Rarely do you see a movie with two sides to it. The first filled with action and adventure, and the second with emotion. Bolt is that type of movie. The story is touching, the action is captivating, and the animation is perfectly detailed.

Synopsis from Yahoo! Movies

For super-dog Bolt, every day is filled with adventure, danger and intrigue - at least until the cameras stop rolling. When the canine star of a hit TV show is accidentally shipped from his Hollywood soundstage to New York City, he begins his biggest adventure yet - a cross-country journey through the real world. Armed only with the delusions that all his amazing feats and powers are real, and with the help of two unlikely traveling companions - a jaded, abandoned housecat named Mittens and TV-obsessed hamster in a plastic ball named Rhino - Bolt discovers he doesn't need superpowers to be a hero.

:: Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa ::

Rating: 2.5 out of 5

The jokes were totally recycled. I thought the beating of the old lady joke was just downright disturbing, especially since they sprinkled in throughout the movie. Somebody please tell me why it is funny to beat an old lady????

I guess it wasn't very engaging! How many times can "I like to move it, move it" be funny? It wasn't fresh, it wasn't funny.

Mentally Exhausted

I have been feeling very sad. Lately, I cry at times for no reason at all esp when I'm alone in my room. I'm mental exhausted. I can't stop myself from thinking day and night. I admit that I'm suck in handling problems esp this. I'm telling myself to stop thinking cause the conclusion still not going to change. However, I'm still hoping a different result at the end of the day.

I tried to hide. But I couldn't hide long.
I tried to resolved this matter by confronted my parents.
Totally disagreed.
I tried to settled this once and for all...but I can't let go.
I tried to ignored this and remain silent...
but ppl keep pushing me hard!!!
Keep bring this matter up...that makes me can't stop thinking...
I can't breathe...Pls give me a break!!!

Sometimes I feel that I should just live on my own...
I don't deserved to be loved by anyone...
Sometimes pushing hard makes me feel, I should just end my life...
I know is stupid...now I understand the feeling of ppl that commit suicide.

I have no one to talk to...I know my buddies is here for me...
Lots of advise...it's easier to say than to really do it.
But this matter makes be numb...
I just don't feel like telling anyone about anything anymore...
I'm not who I used to be.
I'm no longer myself.
I guess I have changed...
I'm not sure I have changed to be a better person or worse.

I'm looking for a lover not a friend
Somebody who can be there when I need someone to talk to
I'm looking for someone who won't pretend
Somebody not afraid to say the way they feel about you

And I'm looking for someone who understands how I feel,
Someone who can keep me real and who knows always
Baby I like to have you in my way
And I'm looking for someone who takes me there,
Wants to share, shows he cares
Thinking on the one that I've been waiting for

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me? (Could you be?)
Could you be the one I need?

I'm looking for someone to share my pain (Uh)
Someone who I can run to, who would stay with me when it rains
Someone who I can cry with trough the night
Someone who I can trust who's hardest right
And I'm looking for someone

And I'm looking for someone who understands how I feel,
Someone who can keep me real and who knows always
Baby I like to have you in my way
And I'm looking for someone who takes me there,
Want to share, shows he cares
Thinking on the one that I've been waiting for

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be this one I need?

Take for grant
How much I care (How much I care)
And appreciates that I'm there
Someone who listens
And someone I can call who isn't afraid of thought to share

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

Is it you? is it you?
Maybe you're the one I've been waiting for
Could you be the one for me?
Could you be the one I need?

Death Race

Rate: 5 out of 5
I love this movie...one word COOL...
Explosions, cars, guns...

If you want a super adrenaline rush you have to watch this movie. Full of intense-action literally from start to finish. Very little dialogue and packed with awesome stunts and high octane race scenes. If you like super-charged, battle -ready cars and hot chicks you'll love this movie. Definitely!!!

Terminal Island, New York: 2020. Overcrowding in the U.S. penal system has reached a breaking point. Prisons have been turned over to a monolithic Weyland Corporation, which sees jails full of thugs as an opportunity for televised sport. Adrenalized inmates, a global audience hungry for violence and a spectacular, enclosed arena come together to form the 'Death Race', the world's biggest, most brutal sporting event. Five-time NASCAR champion Jensen Ames is a man who has become an expert at survival. After eight years of hard time, he has only six weeks before reuniting with his family. But when Weyland demands a driver to headline the big game, Ames is forced to submit. Donning the costume of mythical rider Frankenstein, the racer becomes an instant crowd favorite, an unequaled sporting superstar. His face hidden by a metallic black mask, one convict will be put through a brutal three day challenge, with the trophy being the ultimate prize: freedom. The only catch is that he must survive a gauntlet of the most vicious criminals in this post-industrial wasteland to claim it. Driving a monster car outfitted with machine guns, flamethrowers and grenade launchers, Ames must now kill or be killed to win the most treacherous spectator sport on Earth: 'Death Race'.

Rate 1.5 out of 5

It is the not-too-distant future. Thousands of satellites scan, observe and monitor our every move. Much of the planet is a war zone; the rest, a collection of wretched way stations, teeming megalopolises, and vast wastelands punctuated by areas left radioactive from nuclear meltdowns. It is a world made for hardened warriors, one of whom, a mercenary known only as Toorop, lives by a simple survivors code: kill or be killed. His latest assignment has him smuggling a young woman named Aurora from a convent in Kazakhstan to New York City. Toorop, his new young charge Aurora and Aurora's guardian Sister Rebeka embark on a 6,000 mile journey that takes them from Eastern Europe, through a refugee camp in New Russia, across the Bering Straight in a pilfered submarine, then through the frozen tundra of Alaska and Canada, and finally to New York. Facing obstacles at every turn, Toorop, the killer for hire, is tested like never before, in ways he could never have imagined--as he comes to understand that he is the custodian of the only hope for the future of mankind. For the first time in his life, Toorop has to make a choice: to make a difference or walk away and save himself. Too bad it came on the day he died.

I have officially tender my resignation today...will be working till end of this month. Although, the people I'm working with there was great. However, I think is time for me to move on to another new working environment and experience something different. It's been almost one year working in this company. What I enjoyed and miss the most is the audit visit to outstations with my colleagues. From Johore, Penang, Ipoh and Malacca. I enjoyed every moment of us hang out, gossiping and makan together. I definitely going to miss my team the most.

I've been thinking a lot about what my superior said to me today through email. He is definitely a great superior. I'm glad to have him as my superior. Thanks for all the guidance through my working period in this co. He did mentioned to me that I'm not a patience person. I do agreed with what he said. I will take note about it... I will try my best to learn to be patience. I know that I'm lack of patience.

However, he mention about don't be so calculative. This is bothering me. I'm wondering am I really a calculative person. Am I selfish??? I really dunno. In terms of what that I'm calculative??? Sacrificed little bit, I will learn more in future? What does it mean? In term, of my working??? I only do my work without bother to help others? I didn't know I am such person...

Besides, am I being selfish for tender without one month notice? But after almost one year I worked in this company, I never got any confirmation. How bout this? Sometimes, it makes you think that your not being appreciated. Do I still need to be so kind to stay for one month in this co?

However, when you have lots of commitment in life...Is salary/money what you concern most? Being the only child...It's hard for not attached to any commitment in life... Mum is getting older... I couldn't expect her to continue working to support me... It's time for me to take her responsibilities. So, higher salary would definitely be my main concern. I want her to have a better life. I know she been working hard her life just to raised me up all by herself. Everything she have done, is all about me, for me...

It's hard for me to just ignored everything....and continue to live my life with how I want it to be without thinking about the person that loved me and raised me up.

We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give

Indiana Jones and The Kingdom of Crystal Skull

In 1957, Indiana Jones is thrust back in action, venturing into the jungles of South America in a race against Soviet agents to find the mystical Crystal Skull.
I never watch any previous trailers of Indiana Jones. So, I don't have any idea about it... However, I find it hilarious at certain scenes....and some of the story lines don't make sense. Besides, Harrison Ford's acting was unenthusiastic and exhausted. I think Harrison Ford is too old for Indiana Jones. Should find better look person as Indiana Jones. Whole movie without good looking people, ain't nice.
Thanks Jamie for the accompany yesterday night.

What Happen in Vegas

What Happens In Vegas was a romantic comedy. It was very funny and I had laughed almost every scene. It was a laugh out loud comedy. Ashton Kutcher was very good and made this movie so funny. Cameron Diaz was funny as well and played her part very well. There was a ton of adult humor in this. It was mostly all humor and many jokes between the married couple. I think they picked the perfect actors to play the parts. They worked so well together in this and were very cute.

IRONMAN is BEST SUPERHERO movie ever

The superhero might not be in the Marvel Comics' A-list (place for Spiderman, X-men, Hulk), but the movie should be put into the A-list of Superhero movies.

Robert Downey Jr. is a great actor and excelled in this character. He has brought his charisma into the character Tony Stark aka Iron Man. He brought his witty charm, and humor to bring this dark super hero to light.

The movie was fantastic. They went into detail to explain who and why Iron man exists. The movie focused itself on the character developments of the superhero and his close associates.

The developments of IRONMAN

Everything was great till the climax at the end of the movie. It didn't get very envolved and ended too quickly.

Overall it is a very good movie to see.

GREAT VISUAL EFFECTS

When is the SEQUEL???

Bye Bye Gallbladder

The gallbladder is an organ whose function in the body is to harbor bile and aid in the digestive process.

(5) Gallbladder

In medicine, gallstones are crystalline bodies formed within the body by accretion or concretion of normal or abnormal bile components. Gallstones can occur anywhere within the biliary tree, including the gallbladder and the common bile duct. A gallstone's size varies and may be as small as a sand grain or as large as a golf ball. The gallbladder may develop a single, often large, stone or many smaller ones.

Researchers believe that gallstones may be caused by a combination of factors, including inherited body chemistry, body weight, gallbladder motility (movement), and perhaps diet.
